Sharon M. Perry passed away in the early morning hours on October 31. She was surrounded by her children and several grandchildren as she took her final breath.
The love she had for her children, grandchildren, other family members, and friends was second only to her love for the Lord and her faith. Sharon was a longstanding and active member of the Quinebaug Valley Seventh-Day Adventist church. She was an avid quilter, cook, and traveler. Some of her favorite adventures were solo road trips to visit family and friends. Sharon was always ready to play games and family get-togethers were often capped off with a late-night game of Liverpool or Rummikub.
Sharon leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories for her children; Douglas Perry (Lauri) – Michigan, Brian Perry (Jennifer Hobden) – Washington, Damita Zavaski (Gerard) – Massachusetts, Jonathan Perry – Georgia, and Jennifer Perry (Clay Wright) – Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and her brothers; Norman Boundy – New York, Timothy Boundy – New York, and Paul Boundy - Tennessee. Sharon was predeceased by her parents; Jack Black and Hortense Boundy (Huntzinger), and a son, Bruce Perry.
Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, has been entrusted with Sharon's arrangements. A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
