Dudley – Sonia Torres, 55, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday September 24, 2021.

Sonia was born in Villalaba, Puerto Rico on October 1, 1965, daughter of the late Eladio and Hilda Torres; she worked as a PCA for many years, prior to her illness. Sonia was a loving mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed cooking for her beloved family and friends; she loved to take trips to the beach with her family and would often be found tending to her beautiful flowers.

Being predeceased by her beloved husband Francisco Poline, Sonia will be deeply missed by her sons Jonathan and Michael Poline; her daughters Glenidi and Glendilys Poline; her brothers Pedro Juan Torres, Rodolfo Torres, Hernan Torres, Carlos Torres, Pedro Juan Geraldo Torres, Luis Torres, and Arlan Torres; her sisters Julia and Emma Torres; her grandchildren Jean Michael Torres, Michael Poline, Eric Rivera, Arelys Poline, Glenilys Torres, and Hildalice Poline.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
