Susan Gail (Kaczynski) Gerth passed away December 25, 2022 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, ON Canada at the age of 69.
She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Douglas Gerth, loving mother to Chad Gerth (Aileen McMillan) of Portland and Jeffrey Gerth of Wiarton. She was the cherished Nana to Luella and Gemma Gerth and dear daughter-in-law to the late Shirley and William V. Gerth.
She leaves her sisters Linda Poplawski and husband John, Carol Manzi and husband Frederick, both of Webster, her sister-in-law Debra Gerth of Wiarton and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was predeceased by her father Florian J. Kaczynski and her parents Albert B. and Yvonne A. (LeBeau) Watters. She was also predeceased by her brother Thomas J. Kaczynski, sister Constance Dion and husband Robert E. and Brother-in-law Richrd Gerth and his wife Ann.
She will be missed by her many relatives and friends.
Susan was born in Webster on Aug. 20,1953. She graduated both from St. Anne’s parochial school and Bartlett Hight School. She worked as a secretary at Webster Spring Co. before moving to Canada. She loved working for many years as a fitness instructor and personal trainer at many community centers and fitness clubs in Kitchener and Waterloo, Canada.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Jan. 4, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Church in Canada. A graveside service will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Webster, MA Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10 AM. Please omit flowers and donations may be made in her memory to Strong Start Program or Wounded Warriors Canada.
