Terrence P. Reddington
1957 - 2024
Webster - Terrence P. Reddington, 66, passed away suddenly on November 12, 2024. Formerly of Canton and Needham, he was the beloved husband of Susan (Pineo) Reddington. Born in Levittown, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph T. and Rosemary J. (McGee) Reddington.
On October 17, 1981, at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church in Newton, MA, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart and best friend Susan L. Pineo. Terry, a patented inventor, worked for many years as a business analyst for various companies.
Terry enjoyed golfing, listening to music, singing, attending concerts, and driving his pontoon boat on Webster Lake with his First Mate, Sue. But, above all he cherished the quality time that he spent with his ten grandchildren (aka The Redding10). Terry will be forever remembered for his quick wit and sarcasm.
A former Canton Citizen of the Year, Terry was a devoted father and active community member. He coached his children in multiple youth sports and volunteered at St. Gerard Majella, where he was a faithful parishioner. At Plymouth State, he was a founding member of Alpha Theta fraternity creating lifelong friendships.
Terry’s legacy is one of service, connection, and a deep commitment to those around him. He had a rare gift of making anyone feel like the most important person in the room.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Susan Reddington; his children, Terrence P. Reddington, Jr. and his wife Angela of Abington, Dean M.
