Hello, we have an Uncle Theodore J Podles that was from Baltimore MD. He was born the same year as your father. But our uncle was killed in WWII. Purple Heart has contacted us to give us an Purple Heart for our uncle, but we already have it that was sent to my grandmother back in 1945 was he died. Did your dad receive a Purple Heart?
Thanks,
