Webster – Tomas Asencio-Rosario, 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday October 27, 2020.
Tomas is survived by his wife Fabiana Jacinto De Asencio; three sons: Augustine Asencio and his wife Diana of Philadelphia, Tomas Asencio and Eucedio Diaz, both of the Dominican Republic; five daughters: Elvira, Elpidia, Fidelina, and Maria Estella Asencio all of the Dominican Republic, and Felipa Asencio and her husband Charles of Webster; three brothers: Gustavo, Patilin, and Emilio Asencio, all of the Dominican Repunlic; four sisters: Marikita, Dilsia, Miguelina, and Juanita Asencio, all of the Dominican Republic; he also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Tomas was born in the Dominican Republic on October 10, 1934; he was a hard-working man, working as a carpenter for many years to provide for and help raise his beautiful family. Tomas was a faithful Pentecostal Christian; he loved listening to music, spending time with those he loved, and he always found a way to help out; whether it was mowing the lawn, helping with landscaping duties or fixing things around the house, Tomas always desired to be helpful and useful. Tomas will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service celebrating Tomas’ life will be held on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA. Please be sure to adhere to all current health guidelines.
