Webster- Urban N. Lavine III age 75 passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, with his loving family at his side. He leaves a son Todd and his wife Heidi Lavine of Jacksonville, NC, two daughters Samantha Nadeau with which he made his home, and Robin and her husband Keith Potter of Charlton. Five grandchildren, and a sister, Joyce Hebert. He also had a brother and a sister which predeceased him, Richard Lavine and Ginger Barone of PA.
He was born in Springfield, son of the late Urban N. Lavine II and Frances J. (Wunder) Lavine and lived in Webster for the past three and a half years, prior to that living in Dudley. Urban was Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army. Urbine was a surveyor, working for Beaufort Surveying.
The family would like to thank the laboratory staff at Harrington of Webster for the many years of kindness, attentiveness, and friendship.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held with military honors Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Webster. Please omit flowers and donations may be made in his memory to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, Veterans Way, Webster, MA 01570. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA.
