Virginia E. (Jacques) Popek

Webster – Virginia E. (Jacques) Popek, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 22, 2022.

Virginia was born in Milford, MA on April 1, 1930, daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Ouillette) Jacques; she was a person of deep faith and a devout member of St. Louis Church.  Virginia enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending quality time with her family.

Being predeceased by her husband the late Joseph Popek Sr., Virginia is survived by her son Joseph M. Popek Jr and his wife Renee of Marlborough; her daughters Diane H. Dubois and her husband James of Florida, and Jo-Ann M. Brierly and her husband Dennis of Webster; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; she was predeceased by her brother Lucien Jacques.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake Street Webster, MA; Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
