William L. Olson Jr.

Worcester – William L. Olson, 79, passed away on Wednesday June 22, 2023.

He was born in Southbridge, MA on November 11, 1943, son of the late William L. Olson Sr. and Bridgete (Hmay) Olson; he worked as an electrician for Gentex for many years prior to his retirement.  William served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War; he very much enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports; he was a member of the American Legion for many years.

Being predeceased by his beloved wife Norma M. (Fortier) Olson, William is survived by his three sons: Carl A. Olson of Texas, Robert W. Olson of Brimfield, and William L. Olson III of Danielson, CT; his daughter Kori A. Lyon of Dudley; his brother Michael P. Olson of Thompson, CT; he also leaves seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. William was predeceased by his son Lewis V. Olson.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
