We were away when Aunt Leonie died. I always liked her...bumped into her at yard sales and caught up on how the kids were doing. She did not have an easy life, but she always managed to reach out and take care of others, making sure they were okay. There's a special place in heaven for people like her. So sorry Mark, Tony, and Neil for your loss.

I remember her mostly from years ago when she and her twin sister lived on Railroad Street in Putnam. Always a friendly lady when ever I would run into her some where. Pleasant to know.

I was so sorry to hear about Leonie passing. Ross (Catherine's grandson called me last night ) I will always remember what she told me when we were having trouble with my mom ( Pauline ). She is family and we have to help and stand by them. Shows her wonderful spirit.
