Arthur W. "Butch" Chausse, age 63, of Dudley, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Overlook Masonic Health Care in Charlton.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Joyce A. (Leduc) Chausse of Dudley; a son, Eric Chausse and his wife Joanne of Thompson, CT; a daughter, Laurie Chausse of Sturbridge; two brothers, Bernard Chausse and his wife Sandra of Connecticut, Raymond Chausse and his wife Lorene of Webster; two sisters, Loreen Brodeur and her husband Joe of Dudley, Sharon Dobbs and her husband Ronald of Charlton; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother-in–laws, Kennie Leduc of Middleborough, Dennis Leduc, Bruce Leduc and his wife Linda of Southbridge; sister-in-laws, Janet Giroux and her husband Raymond, Nancy Vandal and her husband Conrad, Sheila Giroux and her husband Charles, all of Southbridge. He was predeceased by an infant son, Jamie Chausse and by a brother, Donald Chausse of Dudley.
Arthur was born in Webster, son of the late Archie and Theadora (Southard) Chausse and lived in the area all his life. He worked for many years for Dennis Duval Paving in Charlton. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing with his grandson, E.J. Chausse and NASCAR.
Arthurs’ funeral will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, with a Mass at 11:00 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster. Please do directly to the church. The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
